A Little About jiyu shin

Jiyu Shin, a renowned floral artist, discovered her passion for flower making quite by chance. Her love for creating beautiful, intricate floral arrangements quickly blossomed into a full-time pursuit.

In 2014, Shin established the Julie & Flower Studio, a haven for aspiring floral artists. Here, she shared her expertise and inspired countless individuals to explore the world of floral design. Her talent and dedication soon garnered international recognition, leading to invitations to lecture and the publication of a floral artistry book.

To further promote the art of unique cake designs, Shin founded the Korea Deco Flower Cake Association in 2017. This association specializes in using a variety of materials, from bean paste and chocolate to marshmallows and natural ingredients, to create stunning floral cake decorations. Through continuous research and development, the association is always pushing the boundaries of floral cake artistry.

At her studio, Shin not only creates breathtaking floral arrangements but also shares her knowledge and passion with students. Her goal is to inspire others to discover the beauty and creativity of floral art and to spread this art form to a global audience.

In this comprehensive one-day class, students will master the art of floral cake decoration by focusing on David Austin Rose as a main flower, complemented by LAVENDER as a sub-flowers and leaves.

Participants will gain hands-on experience in creating lifelike floral arrangements that can elevate any dessert. Additionally, the class will include a detailed demonstration of the marshmallow recipe, along with an insightful colour explanation to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their creations. Join us to expand your skills and bring your cake designs to life with exquisite floral details.
